Avène is a range of skincare specifically designed for sensitive, intolerant and allergy prone skin. It has its basis in dermatology treatments and is the No. 1 Dermo-cosmetic in France and No. 2 in Europe.

The entire range is based on Thermal Spring Water. The spring water takes a 40 year slow journey underground through the Cevennes Mountains in the South of France and is enriched with precious minerals and trace elements before it finishes its journey in the town of Avène . Of constant composition, Avène Thermal Spring Water has a low mineral content and therefore respects the natural balance and the sensitivity of the skin without causing dehydration or irritation like other high mineral content thermal waters. It is bacteriologically pure, with a neutral pH and rich in silica which soothes sensitive skin.

The Avène TriXera Skin Care Range is for people who suffer from eczema, dermatitis and xerosis. It is also suitable for extremely dry skin in babies, children and adults.

Avène TriXera Emollient Cream: A high tolerance, ultra-rich anti-irritant and emollient treatment, formulated for all extremely dry skin conditions in infants, children and adults including atopic skin, constitutional dry skin, xerosis, etc, and skin dried out by medication. Avène TriXera emollient cream is a fragrance-free and paraben-free formula that lastingly soothes and nourishes the driest skin types. Avène TriXera Emollient Cream has a rich yet gentle texture that facilitates application and helps restore skin comfort, as well as suppleness and elasticity.

Avène TriXera Emollient Bath: A treatment bath specially developed for all extremely dry skin conditions in infants, children and adults including atopic skin, constitutional dry skin, xerosis, etc, and skin dried out by medication. Avène TriXera Emollient Bath is specially formulated to soothe, restructure and protect the skin with a combination of rigorously selected active ingredients. With its unique formulation as a multiple emulsion, Avène TriXera Emollient Bath is immediately and finely dispersed in bath water, spreading evenly over the body where it creates a non-oily protective film. This non-foaming, milky emulsion helps compensate for the irritating and drying effects of water, allowing even the most weakened skin to rediscover the pleasure of bathing.

Avène TriXera Emollient & Cleansing Gel: A highly tolerated, non-irritating emollient cleansing gel, formulated for extremely dry skin conditions often associated with xerosis, eczema and dermatitis, in babies, children and adults. Contains Selectiose to assist in reducing skin inflammation during flare-ups. Rich in Avène Thermal Spring Water, it soothes while softening the skin. It also contains a trio of physiological plant lipids which helps the skin's protective barrier and glycocolle helps to prevent dry skin caused by the elements. Avene Trixera Emollient Cleansing Gel is paraben and fragrance free.

Directions for use

Avène TriXera Emollient Cream: Apply liberally, twice a day on average, paying special attention to very dry areas on the face and body. Use more frequently during the winter months.

Avène TriXera Emollient Bath: For an adult, dilute an average of 3 capfuls into the bath water. For infants and children, use between 1.5 and 2 capfuls. Baths may be taken frequently. However, it is important to take short baths and only in lukewarm water (33-34 degrees Celsius.)

Apply Avène TriXera Emollient Cream after bathing to optimize the repair qualities of the treatment and to help restore skin comfort.

Avène TriXera Emollient & Cleansing Gel: Emulsify a drop of gel onto wet skin, rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
